I'm looking out at a over a foot of snow and it is still coming down. Mike's office closed (historic) and he is out shoveling snow and making a snow fort with the kids. Ben is bundled beyond belief and still "Really COLD" and Kyrie is ill-equipped and not one complaint. I am quite content to be inside looking out.
This day was needed. I was thinking about winter yesterday and what a good season it can be for rest and reflection when we allow our bodies and minds to slow down a little. That's hard to do in our modern society but we were made to have a season of less productivity and more rest. I'm enjoying what a snow day is bringing to our family and hopeful everyone is safe out there.
Tonight we have a movie night planned with popcorn and The Wizard of Oz. Last night Mike, Ben, and I watched Moneyball and really enjoyed it.
We will post more photos later.

Your words "Try to play at least one game (board or outside) a week."
How about playing fort with Mike and the kids?
Just saying.

No boots. In fact no shoes with high tops and the snow is literally 14 inches now. Too cold, too wimpy and Mike handed me this day to work. :)
Well, with all that snow, you'll be pleased to know I nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award. :-)
