The sun was out this weekend and we headed downtown to the wooden boat show. Ben played in the water fountain and is shown here, trying to warm up on the pavement at the end of it. We met up with a friend of Mike's and his wife who just moved out to Seattle from Virginia. Much fun.
Everleigh wasn't sure what to make of the sunshine. She hasn't seen much of it since she was born and was rather enthralled with it all. At the end of the weekend, Mike has a tan and we noticed that Ev too, has some dark skin. Mike was happy to see that he has one child with his dark skin. Soon I'll have a little tanned toddler running around.
I couldn't figure out how to force the flash on the new camera so these pictures have a lot of shadows.

Kind of off topic, but you seem to be calling Everleigh Ev, after having mentioned the possibility of Evie as a nickname. Did it not stick? (And yes I do actually remember the singer... we had her Christmas album. On a record, no less. I don't have a lot of pop-culture reference points but that one does make me feel old.)
Ev is just me being lazy.... (Rhymes with Bev.) She is still Evie to the kids most often. Yes, records. I wonder what happened to the cute blonde Swede. :)
