I don't really think I understood what my mom had accomplished until I had children of my own. She did a marvelous job of taking care of my brother and me. We have never doubted her love for us and she did a pretty amazing job of seeing us through to adulthood.
Mom, Happy Mom's Day! Thank you for the many books you read, games you played, the spankings, the long nights of staying up with me when I was sick, for potty-training me and flying across the world with me alone when I was an infant. Thanks for my brother who makes me a better person. I know he was a handful to raise. (Had to get that in there.) Thanks for talking to us about everything and letting us see you pray. I do know why you are tired, but I am happy to see you survived us.
Love,
Rachelle
P.S. I had a cute picture of us when I was young and Mike packed the CD. It is buried in a box in the garage. So sorry.
