In church this week, the Gospel reading described Jesus showing up among the disciples on Sunday evening after His resurrection. It started me wondering: Where did He spend the day? We know He rose early and there is nothing recorded between that brief morning encounter with Mary in the garden and the evening visitation to the Eleven.
I would imagine bearing the sins of the whole world to hell and back was pretty exhausting stuff. Maybe He headed to His mom's house for a nap and a visit. That's my guess. What do you think?
