We're still tired.... But we've made some progress and we had a long relaxing weekend. I went with friends to garage sales and found some needed baby furniture (stair gate, new crib mattress, high chair, cradle). We borrowed a cradle for Ben in Virginia and needed something for the new baby. This one was in great condition and came with sheets, mattress, bumper pad, etc.... Ben has been very hard on the high chair I found last year at a garage sale, so we transported that one to his grandparents for use there and picked up a nice new, more sturdy one for the new baby. And he has a bad habit of jumping on the bed. Taking that into consideration and the fact that my brother, myself, and several others slept on the current mattress, I thought $10 for a new Sealy crib mattress was a good find.

Hooray for good deals! I'm going garage saling next weekend for sure b/c I read there's a big one in the neighborhood we're living in. Plus, Meredith desperately needs more toys.
