Everleigh is The Cuddliest of three very cuddly children. It started to appear she would love to continue nursing well into grade school so she is the only one of my babies I had to cut off. The other two happily quit on their own well before this. This morning she came asking to nurse and I told her she was a big girl and we would read a book and cuddle. She grumped and then accepted it and moved on. I expect it will take a few more days.
Everleigh divides all people and animals into mommies, daddies, and babies. She feels it is important to identify everything she sees. She loves to eat. A lot, all the time, And she loves to entertain us.
Her cognitive skills, particularly her verbal skills and comprehension, continue to amaze us. She is her sister's constant companion and these days she loves books, writing and coloring, and playing with her new baby.
