Titanium
Around the time I became a mother my body decided to become allergic to metals. Fortunately I can wear my platinum wedding ring. But everything else...even 14K gold and sterling silver make me red, swell, itch. I have a prescription medication I use when wear metaled necklaces. Earrings cause me pain in about 5 minutes. After I attended a dressy occasion in which I had to take off my earrings before I even arrived, I started to do a little research and found that metal allergies are very common. The articles referred to titanium as an alternative that usually works for people like me.
Mike has looked everywhere for titanium earrings for me, hoping I could tolerate it. And for my birthday this year I found some on Amazon. (I love Amazon.) I've had them for a few weeks now and they are great. It was fun to find some fun affordable ones for everyday. If you or anyone you know has metal intolerances, try titanium.

That's great! (And it seems fairly affordable, too.) :)
