The Fair

Monday, my friend Missi and I took our kids to the Puyallup Fair. Because we're crazy like that. I'm in the midst of having TOO much to do and too little time but like my mom said, "You have to make time for fun." So we did. It was $2 ride day so we let the kids go on some rides. They did a small, mild, rollercoaster (that they let 3-year olds on alone) and Ben had a look of sheer terror the whole time. Kyri loved it.

I couldn't manage pictures at the petting farm. Everleigh petted a bunny rabbit and a goat, and thought it was pretty cool. We saw animals and did a few interactive exhibits. We attempted to watch Mutton Bustin' (children under 6 riding sheep) but it was too loud for the babies. Four hours of fun and we went home. Children who'd been promised ice cream cones were taken through the McDonalds drive-thru for cheap cones after this mother saw the $3.75 price tag on a small cone at the fair.
