Ben was rummaging around in some of my papers and came across an old Home School Court Report. Apparently the title grabbed him because he pulled it out to peruse.
So Mike opened it up and showed him a picture of me at my old desk working. We told him that I used to go to work everyday "just like Daddy."
"Wow!" was his response. He seemed pretty impressed with his mom.
I looked at that woman. She looks so young, thin, put together. Three children ago seems like a LONG time.

Yeah, we were just addressing the topic of how mommy used to go to work just like daddy also.=D Definitely a hard concept to grasp. So we concluded it, "But then -YOU came and I never wanted to go to work again. I wanted to stay home with you. Do you think that was a good idea?" He agreed, it was a good idea. =)

i remember when you first sent me that article! despite what you think, you still look great, judging from the photos i've seen. and you have great-looking kids, too! :-)
