We had the opportunity to get away for a couple of days this week to Skamania. Our stay was paid for and included food and this mama enjoyed two days of maid service and not worrying about food.We all enjoyed the pool and managed to get a walk in on the beautiful grounds. Ben and Kyrie both had some time in child care (which they LOVED and so I tried not to worry about germs) and Mike and I had a chance to enjoy some time in Stevenson with friends.
On our return trip, we were able to see my dad briefly at Border's in Beaverton (Kyri thanked God that she got to see Grandpa) and then stopped off in southern Washington on our way home to see my good friend Carlene (and have a feed stop).
We had a wonderful time but confirmed that Everleigh hasn't yet caught on to how much our family likes to travel. She will need to get with the program soon.
