Mike left home at 5:30 yesterday to attend a monthly meeting he has in Seattle. When he arrived home after 5 last night, I was a little overwrought from the week and so he sent me off to run errands. He stayed home with the talkative 6-year old, disobedient and weepy 3-year old and "hold me or I'll cry" 2-month old.
When I returned he was laughing. "I forgot I had a radio interview tonight. They called and then I remembered."
"Did you do it?"
"Yes."
"And no one was screaming in the background?"
"It was fine."
Which means he did the interview while holding a baby and somehow keeping the other two entertained.
Why can't I do that?

You snagged a real winner, that's for sure. I would say "Lucky you!" but you'd been holding out for the best, after all!

What a gem. Hope you were able to decompress. Hi to Mom.

I think the same thing! How is Jacqueline better with Josh then me?? :) Great job to Mike. :)
Besides being a great dad, M has the fact going for him that he's a novelty. The kids see you every day all-day an dad's usually gone to work. So alone time with dad somehow ALWAYS goes better than it does for mom. At least ways, that's been my experience. I'm glad you were able to get out.
Go Mike! That's awesome. :)
And I love the post-it notes Rachelle. Thanks for being real--I love that about you. Our homeschool has gone by the wayside too, btw.
