We had a nice weekend on the Oregon Coast with my mom's side of the family. All of us cousins made it, from British Columbia, California, Oregon, and Washington. Two of Ben & Kyri's second cousins (in their 20s) couldn't make it but they were happy for the two that did.
The weather was perfect and we are still trying to get the sand out of everything. Our beach house overlooked the ocean and as much as I love the ocean, I never did make it to the beach. Everyone told me the path was a little treacherous at the bottom and the idea of trying to get sand out of my clothes just didn't appeal. Ben and Kyri made it several times. Each of them took at least one fall into the water.
I have hit some kind of third trimester wall. I routinely just fall asleep. Today I fell asleep while working with Ben on his math. I was next to him and I woke up when he told me he had finished eight pages. (We try to stick to 2-4 a day.) This coupled with Kyri's naps getting shorter and shorter have me a little grumpy this week.
My lab results came back with low iron, continued Vitamin D deficiency (after 5000 IUs a day!) and a higher than preferred glucose level. (Not high enough to warrant the test but I've never even been close before and I still have 8 lb.+ babies so I'm watching the diet carefully now.) I am definitely feeling the effects of having a baby later in life.
I also realized today that I have about two months left to get things ready. And that if we don't do something, this baby may arrive unnamed.

You know, I have this really good friend (actually, I'm married to her) who loves discussing names. I'm sure she'd be delighted to help out :)
Wow. I can't believe that the baby will be here soon. Get as much sleep as you can now girlfriend!
