July 1 I started answering phones and scheduling appointments for my brother's law practice. I find it amusing that I'm in Washington answering phones for a California law practice on an Oregon cell phone number. Ah technology. At this point, I've been busier answering his personal calls than business ones but I've taken a few. I'm a little nervous about sorting out the finer points of what clients he will and will not take but so far I've done ok.
Meanwhile, I spent most of yesterday trying to get a travel post written for the Examiner because their publishing tool was not working correctly. I finally gave up and tried again this morning. Much better.
My children are sorely neglected and have been watching too many dvds and cartoons since early in this pregnancy. I'm hoping we can play some games tonight, read books, and have some good times. I am within a week of when I usually get past the nausea and waiting for that glorious moment to arrive.
Ben is on the mend and will hopefully recover enough to start soccer class with his dad tomorrow night.

I'm more worried about Mike in soccer class. Do you think you have the wind for that, big guy?
