There is nothing so beautiful as watching your children begin to take wee steps in faith. For now we observe the practice of their faith more than anything.
Ben and I had a talk about changing expectations in church before the service Sunday. He used to always do so well and sit quietly and then Kyri's need to have something to look at or write on caused him to regress. So I told him on Sunday that he could draw during the sermon but that he needed to be a participant during the service. And he complied with a few reminders. Joyfully. I guess I needed only to ask and perhaps remind him of his age which seemed to impact him.
Kyri has started to sing in church as well as at home. She also loves to say The Lord's Prayer with emphasis on key words. I really want to get this on video but she tends to freeze up when the camera is on her.
At the end of our service, there is often an opportunity to go forward to receive special prayer. Both Ben and Kyri will go to the front and ask to receive a blessing. It warms my heart.

That is precious. Does your church have a website? I've been wondering if there is a sister church or something similar in my area.
Yes, it is: http://www.christthevictor.com/home.php.
However, there is no link to the locations of other CEC churches so you will find that here: http://www.iccec.org/.
