Our life has a lot of BIG things right now. They are too much to deal with after arriving home at 2am. I'm taking a vacation day and allowing more DVDs, more reading for the mom, and minimal chores.
Here are a few of the little things that make up our world:
- I lead my league in fantasy football. After tonight I'll be 6-0. My quarterback is Tony Romo. My streak may be over.
- Kyri picked up her first pair of underpants this weekend in Oregon. Ben is VERY excited for her. But he insists that she is turning 4 in November, instead of 2. Apparently he does have a little pride and it is a little too humiliating to realize your little sister could be potty-trained when you just reached that milestone yourself.
- Kyri's mother does NOT want to potty train her. She is tired of potty-training. But the fact that she strips all her clothes off, four to five times daily and runs around the house naked until being caught and demands to be changed six or seven times daily suggests she may be ready. But we are not starting today. Way too tired.
- This is the 3rd morning in a row that Kyri has "forgotten" her milk. It seems she is going to transition all at once from my baby into my little girl. A week ago I thought weaning would be tortuous. But right now it appears that like her brother, it may be rather simple. Yay.
