Christmas Baking

There is a difference between wax paper and parchment paper. You would think someone who used to make candles would know that.

She does now.

Yes, and the wax paper is supposed to have something under it when you put the cookies on, or else you will have all these little oil circles on your table when you put the cookies away. At least you will if you're making no-bakes.

I discovered that distinction on turtle cheesecake. For an elegant surprise birthday party for my older sister. Everyone had a fun time peeling flecks of waxed paper off the bottom of their gooey cheesecake.
