from the mom
No big announcements to make. Sorry for the confusion. It was a hypothetical conversation for the time being. Though the last time I had the "should we go for three?" conversation with a friend, she discovered her answer was "yes" within the week. And thanks for some reminders of great middle people I know. Ben and Kyri are great little people and M such a wonderful father; I'm the only downside to 3. I think that can be overcome. (smile)
Today we are celebrating Clergy Appreciation month by making a meal for our pastor's family. I am not accustomed to cooking for 8 so I've gone to the store 3 times already. I am also an absent-minded planner. That could have more to do with it.

It's not middle children who are warped, it's youngest children, alternately spoiled and tyrannized, and never given a chance to be the big one.
Unfortunately, I've never figured out a way to avoid having a youngest child. I suppose you could keep going for so long that they were an aunt or uncle from birth, but I think I started too late to do that even if I wanted to.
