from the mom
Kyri is still hanging in there. She suddenly is disinterested in much solid food and wants to nurse all the time. I'm encouraging it because I want to give her all the immunity she can get.
Ben on the other hand was well for a week of school and then came down with something Friday night. We call it Ben disease. He gets this routinely, every 3 weeks last fall. He has trouble breathing and has to have an inhaler, coughs until he throws up, is generally tired and cranky and gets hysterical because he thinks he can't breathe. He is most definitely MY CHILD. As M said: He makes himself sicker because of his emotional state. He was kind and didn't add "just like you." But I do the same thing. My worst asthma attacks were brought on by panicking over having an asthma attack. Poor kid.
I thought I was coming down with something yesterday and started in on the Vitamin C and echinacea. I went to bed at 8 and slept until 9:30 (well, I was up four times in the night with Kyri). Today I'm still tired but feeling much better.
Meanwhile M is once again going for Super-Daddy/Husband of the Year!

Well, not breathing is a pretty big deal. I can understand why he gets upset. Hope you guys feel better in time for your trip.
Asthma attacks are very scary I know. It is hard to stay calm isn't it? Hope you all are well by the time you leave.
