Fun with Andrew and Leah

from Ben
Last week we had friends visit. I thought they were new friends but Mom insists I've known them since I was a baby. They were really cool. I have asked Mom to spell their names over and over so I won't forget them. They are: A-N-D-R-E-W and L-E-A-H. For part of the time we had other friends too: H-E-A-T-H-E-R and B-R-I-A-N. They were fun too.

When friends come we like to go on trips. I love trips and so I love it when we have visits from friends. This time we went to a waterfall (Multnomah Falls) one day. The best thing about going here was that Mom and Dad let me have green ice. I really like green ice and I repeatedly asked Mom and Dad for more. Dad got me some purple ice a few days later because it was hot and I liked it.

The next day we went on a boat ride on a ferry.
Another day we went to Mt. Rainier. I remember when I went here last. I like all the places I can run around. Here is a picture of me being what Mom calls "an annoying brother." Dad says if you are going to put a little dent in another car while backing out of a parking space, it is nice to do it to Buddhist monks. I am not entirely sure what that means. But they said, "It happens. Don't worry about it." And apparently that is a good thing.

The last day they were here we went to Seattle Center. I didn't get to go up the Space Needle this time but I saw a horse that went around and around and I asked to "ride horse." So I did. Then I wanted to ride in the cars and I did that all by myself. Dad said "no" when I asked to go on the airplane ride. He said I would get scared when it went up. "Maybe next time." Sadly Mom didn't have a camera with her and so there are no pictures. But I sure had fun and Kyri can hardly wait until she is bigger to go along.
