from the mom
Inspired I tackled the bedroom today. I vacuumed, dusted, explored the various uses of my vacuum attachments on lampshades, etc.... Somehow I always end up with a dozen or more books on, under, in, and around my nightstand. M always takes his out of his little nightstand/bookshelf and leaves them under and scattered around the bed. Thus his little bookshelf (designed to hold more books than mine) is always empty. We fixed that annoyance today.
Amazingly, my people sat on the bed and amused themselves the whole time. Ben demonstrated one of my new Discovery Toys to Kyri for the better part of an hour and then they each found other things to look at on the bed. Ben was interested in some of the things I turned up, i.e. calculator, book, old photos.
Now I'm taking a break. Next I need to tackle the pile of paperwork that needs dealt with, and filed. That will involve making phone calls too. And I'm rather enjoying the peace.

If you call them your people, can I call them your peeps? :)
(Did you get that video from my blog or did you come across it on your own? It was very moving to me, too.)
Totally lifted from your blog, K. It makes me weepy.
