from Ben's mom
This morning as I was working in the kitchen, I looked out the window to watch two raccoons rambling off away from the townhouse. I've watched a bunny out there before and I realized as I watched that the new neighborhood we live in on the outskirts of town (we are just inside the city limits) probably encroached on their housing arrangements.
M hung our black and white New York pictures up in the living room this weekend. They look nice with the couch and give me a sense of wanderlust. I used to buy one every time I went but there are only six and I'm sure I've been there at least seven times.
M had a chance to go fishing in Alaska this weekend at someone else's expense. He isn't a diehard fisherman but he would have loved to have seen Alaska. One thing I find endearing about him is that he hates to travel because he has to leave us. If I were in his shoes, I would probably have jumped at the opportunity and been on a flight out of here. I want him to see Alaska someday, but I'm glad I'll have him home this weekend.
