from Ben's mom
I fully intended to post a pregnancy photo but looked at it and vanity took over. We'll see if we can get a better picture.
I am feeling much better and in this second stage, feel better than I did with Ben. A trade-off since the first stage was worse. I had complications mid-pregnancy with him and this time I am staying more active but also able to nap mid-afternoon. It doesn't hurt that Ben is in a growth spurt and takes long naps. I got in some hiking at Mt. Rainier and while I feel huge, I have no trouble walking unless there is elevation involved. (Ok, so Rainier was a little bit of a challenge.)
This baby is much busier than I remember Ben being. He/she is still doing constant flips and poking at me from all sides. I can watch my stomach move quite often. I took some time to jot some things down about the pregnancy in a pregnancy calendar my mother-in-law gave me. I still need to finish Ben's baby book before I have a new one to start.

Yeah, vanity. Hence I haven't shared any photos either.
Joshua is quite the active little bugger. He rolls and flops and kicks, etc. He's startled me a few times with some violent kicks from both sides simultaneously.
Looking forward to seeing you guys this weekend at the wedding.
Darren has had to up the quantity of compliments lately because it's very hard to look at myself in the mirror and think, "Oh, how cute I am!"
Glad you're feeling better. Apparently this is the year for active babies -- I'm sure this one wiggles more than the other two did.
I'm so bad at baby books and calendars. So far I've jotted down random notes in a journal book (for all three), and they'll just have to be content with that.
