from Ben's and ??'s mom
We are due in early November, the 4th or 7th depending on your chosen internet calculator. I'm only 7 weeks, and we planned to hold off on the news.... But I am sick enough that people around here needed an explanation. And like my mom said, the blog had really deteriorated.
Based upon my memory, I am sicker than with Ben some of the time and better at other times. My lows are much lower and my highs higher. I felt bad with Ben from about week 5 to week 16 but I could still go to work.
Ben is being fabulous. The house is littered with toys in every nook and cranny and he has become quite the little DVD watcher. But as long as I feed him, dress him (eventually) and occasionally change his diaper, he is fine. And very self-sufficient. He has taught himself how to work the remotes controls.
I crave GRAPEFRUIT and about the only things that make me feel better are yogurt and bagels. Salad tastes good but doesn't make me feel better. This beats the ice cream I craved with Ben.

How did you do at the wedding?!
So, you haven't started on the lemons and limes yet? I hope you feel better soon! I just read on Joli's blog that she is expecting too!

What's wrong with craving ice cream??? Sounds like an ideal pregnancy to me! =)
You're in our prayers, Rachelle! Congratulations!
Craving ice cream doesn't sound so bad, but it wasn't so wonderful when all I lived on for several weeks was orange sherbert and animal crackers. :-)
Graham crackers are my saving grace (still). However, next time you come down we can kick back, watch a movie, sleeep and eat bagels whenever we're awake! =D ha.
it was great to see y'all at the wedding - i hope relief from morning sickness comes soon! we'll be praying for you :-)
Feel free to hold off til the 8th :)
So happy for you guys!
Hang in there girl! One thing that really helped me for a bit was the sea-sick bracelets. I know it's not the same for all, but worth a shot! :) Hope you feel better very, very soon.
