This weekend Mom decided we should celebrate feeling better! (We all had a rough week with fevers, teething, etc...). So we went to the zoo with Jeremy and Evan and their parents.
We looked at a lot of animals. It was ok but the people were just as interesting. Well, until we found the goats. The goats were so much fun. They weren't much taller than me and Dad gave me some food to feed them. I fed them lots. They would lick my hand and it felt funny. I loved the goats.

Then Dad let me go and jump in the kids water fountain. When you jumped on it, it spurted water at you. I was so soaked and I couldn't wear my shoes because they were wet but I didn't mind. It was a fun time.
The only downer was when we went to dinner afterward and Mom wanted to hold baby Evan instead of me. She even told him he was a beautiful boy! Suddenly, I really needed to be on Mom's lap. And I told her I thought that was very cruel. Then Dad told me that someday Mom was going to want another baby. Nuh-uh. Aren't I enough for her?

Surprisingly, Ben, you'd change your mind if your mom did ever get another baby. Life is so much richer with my brother Stuart. And also he makes old toys look really interesting and I want to play with them again once he picks them up. Mama gets a little uptight about this, but she seems to be glad to have two of us, too.
