from Ben's mom
An update:
-Part of Ben's bottom tooth is missing. It is a small chip but one his mother finds deeply disturbing as she has no idea when, where, or how this happened. She is relieved he'll get a new one in about 6 years.
-Ben is deeply spiritual and prays not just over every meal, but every course. We'll pray for his cereal and then when I come with applesauce, he'll clasp his hands again, ready to offer up another blessing. His prayers, however, are brief. He makes it through "Dear Jesus" before unclasping and reaching for the food. And yet, we find his attitude of gratefulness exemplary.
-Ben finds movie trailers to be the highest form of entertainment. We are a little afraid that our child seems to be highly entertainment-oriented. His idea of fun is watching movie trailers with dogs in them with his dad before bedtime. His mom suspects he will know more about computers than she does sometime before age 4.
