Airplanes & Long Car Rides
I'm getting quite good at this airplane thing. There are so many people who like to smile at me and wave. Some of them looked a little concerned when they saw me getting on the plane with Mom and Dad but they were fine by the time we landed.
I had my own seat for a little while and I really liked that. Mom said she did too.
When we arrived in Washington D.C., we got in the car and we went to a nice restaurant (called Meskerem). We met my Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Larry there. I was very happy to see them and they were really glad to see me.
After dinner we went to their house and I was very tired. Unfortunately, the one thing I really need at night is my bed. It wasn't there and so I didn't get a lot of sleep. Mom likes to complain about this.
The next day we drove forever and then we arrived at Nana and Grandpa's house. So many people live there it isn't even funny. And they all insisted on being called Aunt or Uncle. And they wanted to hold me. I just wanted to play with the dogs. I didn't sleep too well there either. But I got to see Great-Grandma before we took another long car ride. I will tell you what comes next later. I need some breakfast.
