A Visit From Grammy

Grammy came to see us on the train. She always likes to play with me and she brought me fun things called "bubbles." I had to laugh when they went floating in the air and I soon realized it was a ploy to get me to laugh for pictures. She also brought me a puzzle and I like scattering the pieces around and watching her and Mom trying to find them all.

Mom and Dad left us on Monday night (Dad is getting a little too in to this "alone time with Mom" thing).

Grammy likes to sleep in my room and sometimes when I am fussy she lets me sleep down in her bed with her. Then when I wake up I can go play. But I think I sleep better in my bed and I still like to be up high.

Today she had to go get on the train to go home to Grandpa. I guess he misses her. She wanted me to go with her but Mom said, "No way." She's very possessive.

This afternoon I am reading my books, playing with my puzzle and listening to Mom tell me about going to visit Virginia and New York.

Hurray for visits to Virginia! We are really looking forward to seeing you, Ben. Oh, and your Mom and Dad too.
