I'm still amused at the unpredictable irregularity of Ebay. This week I listed an item with a starting bid of $4.50 and a "Buy it now" price of $5.95. Basically, for those impatient shoppers who don't want to keep checking back or bidding, this option allows them to purchase it then and end the bid. I checked the item with just over 3 hours left on it and there were no bids. I hoped it would go at the last minute but wasn't so sure. Imagine my surprise to check back later and discover that the item went at $7.50! I feel kind of bad for the lady--if she had been paying attention, she could have just bought it for $5.95! No wonder some husbands complain about their wives shopping. But again, it is shoppers like this that keep me selling.
