It is good to be home again. I loved being at Grammy and Grandpa's house but I really like it here with Mom and Dad and all my toys and my own bed. I've been playing by my CD player again, listening to good music. But best of all, Dad is here to play with me at night.
Last night we opened presents from my New York grandparents. We haven't been all home together since Christmas and so even though I was getting tired, Dad made a fire and we had a great time. My great-grandma made me a cool train blanket. It is so soft. Grandpa and Nana Reitz gave me some fun blocks and a giraffe that I put them in and it makes noise. And Aunt Alicia gave me my very own music player. I push the buttons and it plays me different songs. I can even choose to add different sounds. I really like it and I danced for quite awhile last night. It was fun!
Mom has had to remind me of the rules a few times. Actually I was hoping she had forgotten that there are cupboards she doesn't let me play in and I can't bounce my toys off the fireplace hearth. But she has a very good memory. But it was worth a try.

Sounds like you had a very exciting and busy first Christmas. Ours was fun and busy too, but it's nice to be home. Thanks for the get-well ecard Ben, it really cheered me up this morning. :) Love, Mrs. Sarah
Happy 1st birthday to you Ben! Be sure to thank your mom for all the work and time she spent in growing you healthy. And thank your dad too for always being there for you. :) You've got two of the greatest parents. Mrs. Sarah
