For those of you that thought monitoring election results was over for another two years, think again. Eight days later, I'm still hitting refresh on the WA State election results webpage to check the numbers that will determine our next governor. In what may be a major miracle, the Republican candidate Dino Rossi currently maintains a slim lead over Democrat Christine Gregoire as the counting winds down. It is so close however, that it appears that a recount will be necessary. (State law mandates a recount if a candidate wins by less than a .5%.) Stay tuned.
