My First Trip to the Yaak

Ever since I was born, I have been hearing about this wonderful place called The Yaak. My mom loves, it my dad loves, my grammy loves it, my grandpa loves it....You get the picture. So last weekend, we took a very long car trip to The Yaak, Montana. Grammy and Grandpa came and we all drove to Bonners Ferry, Idaho and stayed Friday night there. Then Saturday, we drove up to the Yaak. We went on a hike and I rode in my stroller. It was very beautiful and so peaceful that I fell asleep. Everyone said, "Ben, you missed the falls." Now I feel terrible. But the best part of the Yaak was driving the car. Dad let me drive between the Knapp house and the Kendall cabin. I can hardly wait until I am 16.

Sunday, we went to a wedding. I was confused because it was outside and so I thought I could talk. Apparently not, as Dad whisked me away and I missed the very end. There were lots of people who hadn't met me yet and kept telling me how very cute I was. But the best was seeing my favorite aunts Sandi and Carolyn. I gave Aunt Carolyn a big kiss because she is so far away. And at the very end of the wedding, there was a hot air balloon that came and took away Rhonda and Kaycee on their honeymoon. But by then I was so tired, I couldn't smile anymore.
