My First Homeschooling Convention

I was introduced to homeschooling last weekend when Mom went to work for one last time at a homeschooling convention in Oregon. Grammy came to take care of me. I was very happy to see her. We went on long walks together and played and sang. The best part of the convention was all the other people my age. I made some new friends. Jacob and I played on the couch in the nursing mothers' room. He had some cool toys and he talked to me. We had a good conversation and I learned he lives in the same town as Grammy. I also met Jonathan who lives not too far away from me. We didn't have as much time together but he looks like a fun guy. There was a beautiful girl too, but I never got her name. She smiled a lot at me and her mom said she was 10 months. I really liked her.

We also went to my great-grandma's 90th birthday party. There were lots of ladies that asked to hold me and they seemed so happy to meet me.

I was very tired of the car and I must confess I could have been nicer to Mama on the trip home. I guess she had a rough trip too, because Dad met us at a gas station and held me for a few minutes. Boy, was I glad to see him. No one plays with me like Dad. And when he's around Mama seems a lot happier too.
