Laughing
Mom has asked me to post this. Actually, she is demanding I post this. She would like to know if other people's little boys laugh at them when they tell them "no"? I don't know why I think it is so funny, but you should see her. Usually I have just stuck my hand into my mouth with all my rice cereal and then she'll say, "Ben, no-o-o-." She really draws out the "no" in a really low voice and takes my hand and puts in on the side of my highchair. It is so funny that I have to burst out laughing uncontrollably. I noticed after I did this for a long time the other night that Dad took over feeding me and Mom disappeared. Probably to read "Babywise" again. Oh dear!

Most kids cry when their parents tell them 'No,' Ben, so that makes you unique (but we already knew that, didn't we?) Laughing is much healthier than crying, so you're on the right track here.

Hmm... Are you taking notes from my blog comments? I don't recall saying anything about sticking your hand in your outh after a spoonful of rice. Sarah
Oh, man, Ben, I was just rolling at the thought of that "Noooo." Wait till you start walking, and you go for lamp plugs. Parents are *hysterically* funny when lamp plugs are involved. Sometimes I go for it three or four times just for the laugh. There's just a lot of joy in life, you know? -- Stuart.
