Mike just returned from his first business trip in his new position. That he will be traveling was a given in this position. This time he went to Oklahoma City for a few days. The plus side is that picking him up from the airport takes 11 minutes; another that arriving at our airport more than hour before your flight leaves is deemed insane. So Monday morning I had him there 40 minutes before departure. Of course, the downside is that unless he has a meeting in Chicago or Minneapolis there are no direct flights.
We are hoping to get in one more short overnight trip as a family before winter sets in. There are so many great new places to explore. I keep checking Groupon but so far, nothing great.
