Two weeks ago I saw a brief description of a house in Michigan on Craig's List. No pictures but a Washington state area code. I responded. Nothing. Three days later I called and left a message. The owner called me back and told me the tenant had left but hadn't returned keys. I waited. A few more days passed. She called last Tuesday and told me that the house was available to be shown. A friend, Keisha, who lives in the area told me she could see it Friday or Sunday and I called and left a voice mail message for the man who was to show it. Keisha called him at some point Weds. to set up an appointment and he told her it would be shown that day to two others. She told him she would come then too and she did. She texted me 10 pictures and called and told me all about the house. I called the landlord and left a voice mail. Then I called the man who had shown the house and he told me the other two people wanted it too and gave me the cell number of the owner. I called him and he gave me his email and promptly responded with the application. I had it filled out and returned via email, less than 2 hours after Keisha had arrived to view the house. And then we waited.

Today we learned we have the house. I will post some pictures after we move. We are very excited and thankful that we will be able to go straight into a house.
