| The tooth fairy trade |
Ben lost his first tooth last Friday (10/21) in W. Virginia when his Nana asked if she could pull it out and he muttered "uh-huh" and she promptly did. I don't think he thought she was serious and he was shocked. I think someone took a photo but it wasn't me. The Tooth Fairy was not in W. Virginia at the time and then took a few days off when we returned to Washington. Ben was very pleased with his trade; a 2004 (his birth year) Iowa quarter--the only state quarter missing from his collection. He has one more quarter to complete his collection and with a second loose tooth, he is hopeful the Tooth Fairy is aware of which quarter he needs.

By the way, I think the tooth fairy is Irish, but you will have to ask your mom.
