Zoo-Getting tired |
Last week Mike and I spent a couple of days in Bellevue for the State Policy Network annual meeting. I work a teeny, tiny bit with SPN booking travel for one of the VPs and Mike's colleagues did much of the sound/media production for the conference.
It was my first time away from Everleigh and my mom's first adventure in to keeping all three kids at once. Alone.
I attended a few of the breakout sessions and stretched my brain in ways I needed. I enjoyed being with Mike and co-workers and meeting people I've emailed for awhile now.
We did fun things like take a boat out to an island in the Puget Sound for a dinner. Mainly I was very thankful to have a husband who encourages me to use my gifts and talents in as many venues as I can. I realized there that the only person who holds me back is me.

Siblings |
My mom drove the kids up to us on Friday morning and I took her to the train station nearby to take Amtrak home while Mike showed the kids the hotel. Then we took them to Woodland Park Zoo with our amazing Groupon coupons.

I forgot you and Mike were both going. Your mom is a hero. Hope
the kids were very, very good.

The kids were very, very good! And the stay was too short for this Grammy. And I love the pictures...especially the "siblings" at the end...
