U2

We saw Lenny Kravity and U2 in concert on a beautiful Saturday night. Our view was magnificent and U2 put on a great show as usual. (It was my 5th U2 concert.) We met up with many friends at an Irish pub and then took light rail to the concert.

My observations: Bono, Larry, Adam, and The Edge always wear the same thing in concert. Part of their strength is that they know who they are.

The crowd was older....I didn't notice people in their 20s. It was a 30s and over crowd except for the teens with their parents.

Unfortunately not everyone gets wiser with age. Across the aisle from us a couple in their late 30s or early 40s proceeded to drink themselves into a stupor; the couple in front of them moved after the male threw up. They were both passed out for most of the concert and ten minutes before the show ended Alcohol Enforcement came and hauled them away. The rest of the crowd around us was nothing like that.

So glad you finally made it to the U2 concert. I've never been to a major artist's concert before. Must have been amazing.
