Happy Birthday 4-year old

Kyrie is off on a date with her dad to celebrate her birthday. She's been counting down the days for weeks now and woke up early ready to go. (Her dad, who took the day off, did not wake up early.)

Kyrie has so many wonderful qualities. She is spirited and industrious, sensitive to other people, and so, so fashion smart.

She woke up this morning and said she was "done" with her babies (dolls). She said she was 4 and so she would give them all away. I told her she might want to keep them for Everleigh, and that it was ok to love your babies even when you were 4. She intensely desires to grow up and already talks about when she's 16, like her babysitter Sarah. Which can strike fear into the hearts of her daddy, especially.

We hope she'll enjoy being 4 and be content to be a little girl for awhile yet.
