Today Mike did not take the day off. (Sigh.) And I'm typing with a sick baby on my chest. Ben is doing better. And the Drama Queen was no fun all night long for her daddy. It pains Kyri sometimes that she isn't asthmatic. She is sure she would love being hooked up to machines and struggling to breathe. It looks exciting to her. She begs for "medicine" every twenty minutes or so and then when I suggest she should be in bed in her state, she tells me she is "feeling better."
God's gift to us is that Ben was stabilized (due to some massively awful steroids leftover from our last hospital visit) last night and so we only had to go one-on-one through the night. Ah, parenting! You have to laugh sometimes to keep from crying.
Watching
Mary Poppins
last night was hilarious. Ben was struggling with the transition from
The Sound of Music to Mary Poppins. He couldn't get Maria out of his mind. Everleigh was enthralled. She danced to the music, clapped, and laughed. Watching her was the best part for me.
Today is more dvds, lots of stories, and no housework. I am just hoping to get my hair and teeth brushed before Mike comes home.

Glad Ben is better. Kyri: it is not fun to have a hard time breathing, believe me. Hope Ev is better today.
Hair brushing, teeth: forget the hair but ya, better brush the teeth!
Love and hugs,
Judy
Kyri reminds me of Clara, who also begs for medicine! We have been sick too-- the only thing good in all of it is how cuddly Sophia has been! :-/
Prayers continue to be said for all of you.
I'm so glad Mary Poppins was a hit!
Oh yes, medicine is very popular around here. Some children have perfected the fake cough in hopes of getting some! Hope everyone is 100% soon!
