Is it only Thursday?

  • Still sick. Both girls are those kids that I don't get: the kind that can run around and keep playing when they should be in bed recovering. Must be their dad's genes. My side knows how to be sick for all they're worth. Ben is my child.
  • Ev thinks being sick means giving up napping. She took no nap on Tuesday and I was pretty shot when Mike came home. Yesterday she slept a total of 30 minutes in two SHORT naps.  She's never been a good napper but she's given up sleeping through the night in the last two and a half months and had been taking at least one hour+ nap since. I have more energy with her regardless. Vitamin D supplements? I don't know but I am grateful.
  • Kyri has resumed breastfeeding her babies. I guess all has been forgiven.
  • The sun has been out for at least part of the day for the last week or so. It has been an amazing help with a sick family. Throw in that I've been the only one unafflicted and I have been thanking God for my good health.
  • My parents gave me an aquaglobe for my birthday. They also gave me a Plant Nanny. I love THEM. The plant nanny is probably the more effective in terms of fitting into any size pot/plant. The aqua globe though is beautiful in my pomegranate plant on the windowsill. The sun catches it and it lights up with brilliant colors. For someone who has trouble remembering to water her plants (and has some so high I can't reach them), these are amazing tools. I plan on getting more.
  • I love online shopping. It is an easier way of sticking with my budget. When I walk into a store, I see things I think I need. Online shopping allows me to search for things without walking past rows of other merchandise. I'm also finding good deals. I went shopping with Kyri in the mall and we went into Gymboree. I then went online and ordered a few things I had seen in the mall. They were cheaper, even with shipping.
  • My aunt stopped by for lunch on Monday. She brought a bag of disguises, "dress-up clothes," and jewelry that she's picked up at thrift stores. Ben has been walking around with an orange furry hat and Kyri has been decked out in all kinds of big jewelry. It is pretty funny.

I'd like to see pictures of the dress-up clothes on the kids... if you have time. :)

Still sick here too.
I would also love to see the kids all dressed up in their "new" clothes but only when you are able to get some sleep!
