Last night my SuperMom friend Missi came over with her two children and stayed with Ben and Kyri while Mike and I went to dinner. She offered to keep Ev too but Ev has been teething for 4+ days now and has hysterical periods and I didn't want to leave her with her (almost) 5 month old and my screaming 8-month old.
Ev loved playing the only child at dinner and entertained our section of the restaurant by studying the menu and then chewing on straws. And after eating out with three children, having one was positively relaxing. Mike and I were happy to actually be able to talk to each other during dinner besides saying, "Could you get her more? Could you pour juice? etc...."
Missi can run circles around me and when I came home the kitchen was even clean. It was a wonderful reprieve.

you are sweet Rachelle, but I in no way run circles around you. And I had to do dishes, I mean...half the fun of going out is NOT having to do dishes afterwards. So it wouldn't be any fun for you to go out only to come home to dishes. lol!
You have good kids, they are easy to watch:)
What a great friend. Glad you two (or three) had a chance to get out.
