Ben is so into geography that we daily hear minutiae about places in the world. Today he was building "Mayan ruins" with Legos. But this is my favorite exchange so far:
Ben: Mom, did you know there are alligators in Louisiana?"
Me: Yes, Ben. Grandpa saw one when he visited there. I'm pretty sure he decided he didn't want to live there.
Kyri: And Grammy said, 'Don't be afraid Grandpa. That alligator won't eat you.'
Which I'm sure is probably how it went.
