The days are galloping by....The good news is that I'm not bored. Though I am tired of taking people to the potty.
Mike is in Florida for a few days for a conference. I am glad he is getting a 4-day break from diapers and goading children to brush their teeth and use the bathroom and to finish their dinner before bedtime.
I have a mountain of papers all related to buying a house next to the computer. Most of them need to be read and signed and I'm trying to find a way to get through the stack. But the bigger it gets, the more tired I get at the thought of trying to get through them.
I participated in a consignment sale over the weekend. It was very poorly organized (no size dividers for thousands of kids clothes) and I don't think I broke even as a result. But we did get rid of the baby swing and baby bathtub which will be two less items to move. I sold a few of my maternity clothes and the rest are set to go to the local crisis pregnancy center.
My mom is here and last night my good friend Amy came over and we watched the movie Bright Star. It was directed by Jane Campion (The Piano) and a beautiful artful film to watch. In one scene, I watched the camera focus back and forth between two faces four times without moving. The story is based upon the true story of John Keats and Fanny Brawne. It made me exhausted at the idea of parenting girls.... Love is exhausting. I do recommend the movie to those who love Jane Austen-type period films. Mike was glad to miss this one.

How is the house buying business coming along? It is in the same town, right?
