Mommy Thoughts

Now that my wonderful help is gone during the day, I have had time to catch up on my internet reading. It is one thing you can do while holding a baby that demands to never be put down.
Here is what the day turned up:

• Sadly, my favorite of the Podium Pundits, Ed Walsh, is departing the site. I'm bummed. And hopeful Ed will begin blogging somewhere else.
• A post on Pat Robertson's horrific comments on the Haiti earthquake and a fabulous letter to him from Satan. Seriously, what happened to "They will know you are Christians by your love...." Pat?
• My previous life in higher ed led me to get to know some really amazing individuals on the cusp of adulthood. Now that they are grown-ups I'm happy to call many of them friends. Leeann is one of whom I like to say, "I knew her when...". Here is her brilliant mind, writing on the Brown victory.
