Ready, Set.....

Last night I think we arrived at a name. For those who like meanings and want to take a shot at it:
"Eternal meadow, clear & bright."
I love the meaning. She sounds like a great person to be around, don't you think?

I started experiencing some things last night that happen for me right before labor and told Mike that was a little odd. But don't want to get excited.

And then this morning, another big sign when I lost my plug. Since I'm still not 37 weeks my midwife would like me to "not go into labor" and will be spending some time figuring out if she can have me deliver at The Birthing Inn if I do. If I can make it until Weds. night, I'm in the clear.

A few phone conversations and my 3-year old was not oblivious. She came in and said, "Susan get the baby out?" (Susan is my midwife.) Just yesterday I finally got all the baby's things put in drawers and baskets. Other than that, I have nothing for labor and delivery and aftercare. I'm supposed to take it easy....In a house with stairs everywhere and laundry to be done, I'm not sure how to do that. But a friend offered to get the kids for a while today so I can "rest." And my mom is taking the train up today.

Stay tuned.

I got the "clear and bright" part I think! I hope you make it to your cutoff-- isn't it interesting how the more babies you have the faster they seem to come out! Well, a no-brainer kind of interesting. Hope you get some rest!

I'm not quick enough to figure out the name ... so I'll just wait until she arrives to know for sure! I'll be praying for you that everything will happen in God's timing!!

Very exciting! Clara means "clear and bright," which is one reason why we loved the name so much. But there are actually quite a few names with that meaning, so ...

Ardith means meadow, I found out. But not eternal meadow. :)

Can't wait to see pics of happy mommy and family with baby girl! Praying for you, for a safe, speedy delivery.
