Kyri firmly believes in rising with the sun and going to bed when it goes down. "Adjusting" to standard time means she holds off until she sees daylight and then comes into our room and tell us that it is now "morning." She will point out the window to make her point. If we are really unresponsive and she is feeling a little groggy, she will crawl in our bed and snuggle for awhile. But she is just as happy to get one of us up and start her day. (Ah, I envy her get-up-and-go.)
But as the sun has been going down earlier and earlier, Kyri will show up with her pajamas and say it is now "night" and time for pjs. Usually this happens as I'm making dinner and when her dad arrives home from work she greets him in pajamas. Funny, how I can relate to this a whole lot better!
Ben lives life by the clock. We've been trying to pull back his bedtime a little to adjust to winter time and he is insistent that he goes to bed at 9pm and not a minute sooner. In his defense, he is happy to sleep in until 7:30 or 8am every morning too.
