My pregnancy pilates dvd had to go back to the library. And since I was doing at most 20 minutes of the hour-long dvd on any one day and about an hour a week total, that's probably ok. We have three floors and the laundry sorter is on the top floor and the washing machine/dryer on the bottom, so I do a lot of stairs. By the time I change sheets, vacuum, and scrub the kitchen floor on hands and knees it probably counts for a good workout. Throw in a little stretching to keep me from aching too much and call it good.
Two nights ago I had a little scare when it felt like the baby dropped. Suddenly I could breathe again but not walk. This isn't supposed to happen until just before labor commences (with no. 3) and coupled with some intense ligament pain (another joy of having more than two pregnancies) I was starting to wonder. But this baby appears to like to move around and she moved back up before morning. But I do sense some changes....My appetite has decreased. All I could think about was food for most of the last couple of months and this week my nut/yogurt/cheese supply that was getting me through the day is holding steady.
Mike and I spent time yesterday holding Kyri and telling her how important she is to us. She is both extremely excited about the baby and very threatened and has gone back to needing to have two "passies" with her at all times. Yesterday she asked to nurse. The last time she did that was almost a year and a half ago. That and a few other bizarre behaviors made me aware that somehow I have to keep her in focus in the coming months. Ben had none of these issues and never seems to feel any threat about his place in the world. He is just excited to have another sister and comes up to my tummy and pats it before moving on to do his thing. He has added the chore of taking the trash down to the garage and for the first couple of weeks of doing it will have the reward of getting to pick out a new game to get. I'm thankful to have an almost 6-year old this time around.

Ben sounds like a great helper! Can I borrow him? I'm sure Kyri will adjust quickly and be a helpful big sis as well!
