Women of the Week

For setting women back another 100 years by giving the most rambling, incoherent speech that left us all going "huh" and making John McCain kick himself yet again, I nominate Sarah Palin for the What Were You Thinking? Award. Oh, and adding, "I can't even finish one term in office" to the charges of inexperience. And "the media won't let me get to my real work as governor" from a woman who let her teenage daughter go on Fox News, spent a week berating a comedian for his indiscretionary comments on the "wrong" daughter, and just granted an interview to Vanity Fair. You've got to be kidding!

For kicking the Governor out of the Governor's mansion and telling him he can't have his cake and eat it too. For letting him know she really doesn't like him anymore but that she loves her four sons enough to consider forgiving him IF he changes his ways, I nominate Jenny Sanford for the Woman To Be Admired Award. Perhaps John McCain should have considered her for a running mate.

You said (extremely well as usual) exactly what I have been thinking about these two women.

I second your award nominations.

Haven't followed the SC thing at all but as for Palin...I didn't need her ridiculous speech, bizarre behavior, or pathetic journalistic attempt on VF's part to remind me of all the reasons I don't like her nor did I ever think she was qualified for the job of VPOTUS...or any public office, for that matter.
