Respite

Thanks to the generosity of a friend we had a little get-away this last week to Skamania Lodge in the Columbia River Gorge. Mike had to do some work so the kids and I took a 1.5 mile hike. The crowning achievement was spotting a pond with a lot of frogs. Both kids are great hikers. Later that day we took a short hike up to the first bridge at Multnomah Falls on the Oregon side.
